'Blink of an Eye' is the debut album from Poughkeepsie, NY native Jeff Timm. The album is potent mix of classic rock, punk, country and folk.

'Blink of an Eye' is influenced by Jeff’s life and the people he has met while living in his new home of Montclair, NJ. Jeff recorded the 10 songs with producer Ray Ketchem (Guided By Voices, Luna, Elk City) at Magic Door Recording. His life partner, Alison Javens, inspired and supported the process in every way.

'Blink of an Eye' features guitarist James Mastro (Ian Hunter Band, The Bongos), bassist Larry Heinemann (Blue Man Group, Karyn Kuhl Band) and backing vocalist Renee LoBue (Elk City). Their contributions helped create songs that are poignant, powerful and fun to listen to.
Jeff believes that songwriting comes down to a few things: First, paying attention to the life going on around you, what people are saying and doing is key for the genesis of a song and its story. The second thing Jeff thinks is important is to realize that every song has a cousin, don't be afraid to play a well known chord progression - change a thing or two and make it your own. Lastly, every songwriter needs a right hand man (or woman) to inspire, support and balance the creative process. For Jeff it’s Alison who has been his sounding board throughout the creation of Blink of an Eye.

Previously Jeff Timm released a politically charged three song EP in fall 2020 as a reaction to the chaos of the year’s events
